Mickey's Halloween Party Question...

What do you like most about the MHP? The shorter lines...the decorations...dressing up? This is my first year going and I have absolutely no idea what to expect and I'm just curious as to why other people go...

We went in 2007 and 2008. The shorter lines were great and it was kind of neat to get to do Cal. Adv. at night (when we usually go in Oct., it was never open at night except for the parties). However, my husband loves that adults get to "trick or treat" too - lots of free candy! Although the selection was better in 2007 than in 2008 I think.
We are trying to decide if we will go this year.

I have been to WDW's Halloween party and am attending DL's Halloween party next month. I love that they limit the number of people in the park. I am also looking forward to seeing the firework show, since it is exclusive to the party this year.

We're really looking forward to the fireworks this year, and the reduced crowds are by far the biggest perk for me! Of course, it's so fun to see everyone dressed up and feeling extra festive. It's a different atmosphere in the park, and that makes it a lot of fun too.

As the PP mentioned, I like that I am able to trick or treat. It feels like a neighborhood out trick or treating together. I am looking forward to what it will be like at DL. I have gone to all the MHP at DCA, and because it is at DL, I am super excited to discovery how different this experience will be. Having shorter lines (especially the Ghost Galaxy) will make this year special. too.

We love it because it gives us the opportunity to dress up with the kids (they really get a kick out of Mom and Dad dressing up and trick-or-treating with them, LOL).
When it was in DCA, we didn't concentrate on the rides as much because we are local and can do rides anytime. But it will be different this year with HMH and Ghost Galaxy. We will do those two for sure.

I'm also excited to see the Halloween Fireworks without (as much) of a crowd during the event.
