We are going down to Orlando Oct. 16-22 of this year. I have been reading a lot of reviews and seem to think this Mickey's Halloween party is just for kids. We don't have any children and we are going with another adult couple which of course, we are all kids at heart when we get there right?! :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

I see that the tickets are almost $40.00 p/p and am thinking for $80.00, we can spend it on dinner or a dinner/show at Sea World. HMMM?

Any thoughts? :smooth:

Personally, I've never been, going this year for the first time but it's NOT necessarily all for the kids - the Magic Kingdom is decorated for Halloween, they have a special parade, you get a free picture with a Halloween background, there is trick or treating (which I think would be for the kids), most of the big rides are open, special fireworks.........................am I missing anything..........yea, it's a little expensive in addition to a park hopper but I'm going to check it out this year.

If I didn't have a child with me, I think I'd still check it out but only because my favorite holiday is Halloween.

I went in 2003 - I really enjoyed it....It was just my Fiance and myself....we are both kids at heart and had a blast.

We are going this year - I can't wait!

It really is a lot of fun for both kids and adults. We varied in age from 6 to 63 last time we went and everyone had a blast!

Mom was about 84 when we first went. She had never gone trick-or-treating before, and she had ball, she was "dressed" as a chef, and I treasure the souvenir picture we have. We're going to another MVMCP (her 2nd) with a group this year.

Does anyone have any more details.....where do they trick or treat at??

Oh, we will be there the 11th-15th of Oct. :goodvibes

There is a whole thread with info at the very top of the Theme Parks and stratgies board. A lot of really good info.

My husband and I haven't went to the Halloween party but we plan on going this year, just the two of us:)

Sure. Just PM me with your email address. Also, there is a link on page 15 of the October thread that might help you open it.

My husband and I go alone and we have a blast. We usually avoid the MK during the week and only go the night of our Party tickets. You can often walk on to all the adult rides, the candy is fun, the costumes are great and we always have fun. It makes our MK time special since we are only there during the party. :flower:
