Mickeys Halloween 2017

I am planning a trip to Disneyland in October. I am trying to plan so we don't get too many days cut short by Mickeys Halloween party. From what I gather they are generally on Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday. Would you think this would be the case this year? I'm thinking we will plan on being in the park Tuesday-Thursday... any thoughts?

Beware! LOTS of other people have that same exact mindset. We spent a week at Disneyland in October, and Tuesday/Thursday of our trip had DL rated as 10/10 crowds. A couple CMs told us it was close to capacity. We were so surprised by the number of people there! Having said that, the party is great! We've done it twice now and hopefully next year, too. We may try to do September next time though as October had a lot of Arizona and Utah fall breaks which didn't help with the crowds!

The dates we are looking at at rated as 2-3 on the crowd forecaster. So I'm hoping it's not too far off. We haven't decided if we're going to do the party, we have done it before. We're looking at being in the park either oct. 23-25 or 24-26. Just trying to get the least interference and smallest crowds.

I'd do 24-26th. Middle of the week should be better, I'm assuming. Just make sure it's not during the Utah Convention thing that people say makes the parks very busy!

For the last few years, the MHP schedule has been fairly consistent in early October, but the schedule gets more erratic the closer to Halloween you get. Until the dates are announced (for the last few years, it's been in mid-Summer, sometime around early July) it's hard to say what the schedule will be for the two weeks before Halloween.
