Anyone stayed at Mickey's Condo in Windsor Hills?

I have booked my family there next summer and would like a review of the condo. Can you really see the fireworks from your balcony?

I saw this condo as well, I was wondering the same thing. How far is Windsor Hills from Disney?

I booked Mickey's Safari last week for our 10/28 - 11/4 trip. I'll let you guys know as soon as I get back. I think these people have a few condos: Mickey's Safari, Mickey's Condo, and Mickey's Hideaway. I also hear the Storytime condos are nice too. This is our first time trying a condo. We've outgrown Disney's hotels. They say Windsor Hills is only about two minutes from Disney.

We stayed in a large pool home this past July in Windsor Hills and the home was located near the front of the development and the community pool area. We were surprised that we were able to view much of the Epcot fireworks at night from the house.

The view was clearer from the second floor of the house and although we couldnt see everything quite a bit were visable.

Since they started later in the summer months it was nice to see what we could from home and not have to travel on nights we weren't already out.

We really liked Windsor Hills. Enjoy your visit.

Buy the Illuminations CD while you're there, and listen along from your balcony

I think Mickey's Condo is on the 4th floor so maybe the view will be good.

I will definately buy the illuminations cd! I wasn't sure which fireworks we would be able to see. Now I'll be prepared!

I was also told you could see the top of the tree of life in the distance from the balcony. Not sure if this is true but wouldn't that be really neat?

It's probably true since you can see the top of the Tree of Life from 192 as well as the peak of Everest.
I live about 1/2 mile from where you are staying and yes, we hear Illuminations nightly.

Hi, we have stayed here and really liked it! The condo has everything you could possibly need - it even has the Disney Scene It game and Disney monopoly, which the kids and I enjoyed playing. You can see the fireworks in the distance, but they are probably 5 miles+ away. The owner is a sweetheart, and I felt extremely comfortable working with her from day 1. The resort is very nice - close to Disney - 5 minutes to AK and 15 minutes to the MK parking lot. This condo is in one of the buildings up front so you don't have to go through the entire development to get to the front gate. It's also only a short walk to the pool. This is an end unit facing the parking lot - so no elevator noise and the master/queen rooms don't have any neighbors.

The mattress in the master was EXTREMELY hard...most of the nights we were so exhausted that it didn't matter. That was our only drawback. It is on the 4th floor. There's an elevator but if you go grocery shopping and have a lot of bags, it's a pain to bring them all up (we cooked in a lot). Once I dropped a bottle of red wine on the first floor because I was trying to carry too many bags at a time. I preferred the top floor though to keep us away from the noise of the parking lot and neighbors above...although it was extremely quiet when we went.
