Has anyone here done this? I know it's not too popular. Which characters did you see? How was the food? Mini-review? TIA!! :goodvibes

Are you referring to the Surf's Up breakfast at the PPH? I am pretty sure that's the only character meal where Mickey appears. We went back in March and the kids loved it! It's a little more low key than Goofy's, which was kind of nice. Decent buffet, on the smaller side but still has all the essentials. I remember seeing Mickey and Stitch and can't remember who else. :) There are a few cute interactive activities including learning to surf with Stitch (and Mickey). My kids really enjoyed it and it was nice to get a break from the more manic atmosphere at Goofy's!

Mickey is the host & you will only find him at this meal!!

You are checked in & then lead into restaurant where you will do your photo op......ours was with Mickey!! You'll be taken to your table where you can then go to the buffet. They play different games thru-out the meal: Dancing, Surf lessons, Hula Hooping, etc.

We saw Stitch, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto as well as Mickey.

We had a blast......we thought most of the food was very good......avoid the smoothies in the pitchers on the buffet.....ick!!

I have pictures from this meal & of the food in my trip report:

We just did this one... it was a great breakfast... we saw Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto & Stitch... Stitch as always is hilarious!!

Oh and I disagree on the smoothies... we drank large quantities of the banana one!! Yum!

:rotfl: Maybe they got them figured out.....the smoothies you can order during meals is delicious.....but the ones in the pitchers the morning we were there, were runny & were like drinking the flavored syrup straight!! :scared1:

I don't think this meal is unpopular, more that it's still quite new. We did go when it was Lilo & Stitch's bfast and we highly enjoyed it, we have not been since it's been the Mickey bfast tho. Mostly because both of the girls are now considered adults but they won't eat enough to justify the cost for us, so for the near future (or at least our next trip in the next year or two) we will only be eating at AG or BB for those prices. :) :)

Our also weren't in a pitcher... they were in a pour spout container thingy by the omelet bar... the banana one tasted like fresh blended bananas... no syrup! lol

Ooh... and I have to add, the peanut butter, chocolate, banana french toast, was really really good... I was actually surprised because it sounded like a bit much!

We are staying across the street and want to go to the Surf's Up Breakfast. Could anyone tell me where Paradise Pier Hotel is located?
Thanks!

It's over by the Grand Californian......we stayed at the HoJo & walked to the GCH thru DTD. Go up to the lobby & out the front entrance (where they have the valet parking)......walk to the left & you will see the PPH right across the street.

If driving you can turn left onto Harbor, turn right on Katella......you'll drive past the back of the Paradise Pier area of DCA & turn right on the first street (parking for DTD, GCH, PPH)......the hotel will be on your left.
