Ok, this is the one Character Meal that we have yet to do ... but that will soon be rectified!!

Anyway, does anyone know if the Characters will sign autographs at this meal? I know it is a bit different then the other meals and that Mickey and his pals don't come around to the tables to meet with the families individually but I was wondering if there was still a chance to have them sign our books while there?

Great question! We are are also doing MBYBBQ for the first time in May

Yes they do. I just went to it with my son a few weeks ago and they all signed his auto graph book and took pics with him.

My kids have watched their older cousins get autographs our last few trips and have started asking about it ... I guess we'll start this trip!

We did this last summer (and loved it, btw). The characters that are on the dance floor interacting with the children do not sign anything. However, a few characters come around to your table for pictures and to sign (but they are very fast and if your kids are out dancing then, they may miss them). Chip and Dale were out in front ahead of time for pictures and autographs.

I would say this is not the best character meal for autographs b/c it is really focused on dancing with the characters, but I did see people getting autographs when the characters came around.
