Mickeys bacyard barbecue advice???

My dd is really talking about wanting to do this in June. We've done HDDR and I wasn't so thrilled with the food. So, how is the food at the Barbeque? Any downsides to this meal/activity?

We thought the food was good. The entertainment was good. However, when we went it was very, very hot.

Think company picnic. Well, that might be a slight exaggeration, but it's close. First of all it's buffet, which can be a challenge if you have small children. Then you're going to sit and eat at a picnic table. The building does have a roof, but the sides are completely open. The weather can definitely be a factor as they don't have air conditioning. I thought the character interraction was very good, the food was good and dancing with the country band was fun. I'm glad we did it once, but it's not something that I would do again.

That's what I thought. Maybe I can persuade dd that there is something better to do. We've done HDDR already. I just don't want to be sitting outside in the humidity and have to worry about biting bugs in June.
