popcorn:: We are thinking about booking reservations at the BBQ but are looking for some feedback...we have 3 kids traveling with us...ages 8, 13, 15...what we've researched so far is that it may be geared more for younger children...has anyone tried this dinner show..feedback is most helpful! Thanks:disrocks:

This thread has been posted numerous times..My friend just returned and here is what I posted on the last thread 2 days ago~

My friend just came back last week and went to Mickey's BBQ..she was not impressed! actually she didn't like it. The food was not good..the food they offered was~

BBQ Chicken..the only thing they liked
spareribs
Hamburgers..no one liked them
Hotdogs
Mac and Cheese
beans
corn on the cob
potato salad
cole slaw
watermelon
Ice cream
Beer and wine were included (bud light) it made it better

The characters~ Chip and Dale, Mickey and Minnie and Goofy

They ended up leaving early because it was chaotic...not worth 2 TS..

I have to agree with the last poster. I went last summer with my family and we left early. They should never serve Beer and Wine at a kids function like this. The adults were drinking too much and trying to get out on the floor to dance with the charcters. They were cutting in front of the kids in line and bumping into everyone. The food was ok at best and the CM's just didn't care what was going on.

with kids those ages i would NOT do BQQ. That is more geared towards the little ones. I would suggest Hoop Dee Doo. The show is awsome! The food is good! I've done it many times with a teen age 11 and 14 (same one) loved it both times. Adults like it too! Its a little awkward at first, but things really get started it is super!

I agree with the poster above do the Hoop dee Doo, i have two little ones 6,4 who love the hoop dee doo, we skiped it two years ago to do the barbaque and the kids kept asking if we could leave and go to the Hoop dee doo instead. On top of all the people and everyone pushing, by the time we got back to the WL my hubby was so sick, I blamed it on the chicken cause mine was still pink and I am sure he did not even look at his.
