Mickey's Backyard BBQ- Should we go?

I am really debating this one after reading some so-so reviews.

We will be there the first week in October, we could go pretty much any night except for Tuesday 10/7 which is when we are doing MNSSHP. Our party consists of Me, DH, my mom, and my son 2 1/2. He loves the characters, especially Mickey. Last year at MNSSHP he loved the Chip and Dale Dance party. He is very outgoing, so I am sure he will be fine in that respect.

We will have a car, so the transportation isn't a big issue. We generally like the food on the menu. We aren't HUGE eaters or drinkers, but I think we will enjoy the spread as long as it is warm and half decent.

That being said, I am concerned about the price and that it will be packed and my son will get no enjoyment out of it......any thoughts, suggestions or reviews?

This is a fun good place to go to. We loved it. If you can you should go.
