Mickey's Backyard BBQ and autographs?

We are planning on attending the BBQ but do the characters sign the autograph books for the kids?

The idea of the BBQ is dancing with the characters. There's a big dance floor with a stage and a country music band.

Don't try to stop characters who are in motion (dancing, walking, etc.....) for autographs. Some try to and the characters may just brush past you because that's not what they are supposed to do. Most of the time, the characters are on the dance floor.

One or two characters came around the tables while we were sitting and eating and were signing autographs and doing posed photos, but don't count on it.

Mickey's BBQ is a fun and very busy place.... and the best photos will be capturing those action shots -- dancing, high fives, and that sort of thing.

Food was OK, but everything else was lots of fun.

Thank you so much that is all I was wondering cause I dont know that we will see Minnie anywhere else unless we eat at Chef Mickey and that wasnt on the menu, but it will be now cause we will need that autograph.

Minnie was the one character coming around the tables to sign autographs at Mickey's BBQ..... the rest of the characters were dancing. Now, that was 2008 and I'm sure each experience is different.

We did easily see Minnie at two places -- at the Judges Tent in Magic Kingdom (Minnie and Mickey) where Minnie is there regularly for autographs/photos... but sometime in 2010 that might close for the fantasyland expansion work. And Minnie has also been at the Epcot character spot by innoventions - there are several characters there all together so you can get them all at once -- when we were there, was Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Pluto.

Mickey's BBQ Tip ---- Arrive at least 30 minutes before your time. When we were there, we were allowed in 30 minutes before the scheduled time -- and food was available.
