Mickey's 5-Day Dine in the Magic Meal Plan?

Hiya, I was wondering if the Disneys "Mickey's 5-Day Dine in the Magic Meal Plan" is worth the money compared to buying the meals there on the day. I am staying for 6 days.

The Dining Plan @ DLR is not well liked by most here. To budget or pre pay for meals I put $$ on Disney Gift Cards *you can add $$ to a GC by calling DelivEARS ~800-362-4533 *you give the CM your credit/debit card info and they mail you the receipt. Last time I did this *last month* the $$ was on the GC the next day. I also purchase Character Meal vouchers from LMT *I've already purchased vouchers for Goofy's & Ariel's for our 4th of July trip ~ I've also purchased meal vouchers in the past from GAT and ARES *click Character Experiences ~ these vouchers include tax & tip!

The DLR Dining Plan will not save you any $$$.

the plan is dollar for dollar, not like the dining plan at WDW. If I remember correctly if you have a $10 food voucher and your meal is $8 you don't get change back either, so you would lose money.
