Sure. Use Golden Malted ORIGINAL mix (not the "complete" version). Follow the buttermilk pancake recipe on the side and actually use buttermilk. The mix is available on Amazon but it's actually a fair amount cheaper just ordering it directly.
These won't taste EXACTLY like Mickey waffles, but the Krusteaz Belgin Waffle mix (you add water, oil, and eggs--NOT the "just add water mix") is amazing. If you use that batter with the 90th anniversary waffle maker you will never eat breakfast out again.

Nice! I have a 7 inch Mickey head waffle maker, it's not as detailed, just the outline with waffle squares. Not sure my wife would be impressed with another waffle maker
The golden brown waffles look great. Will see about trying them out soon

It'd be pretty similar. Golden Malted mix is used at many hotel chains with complimentary continental breakfast (albeit they likely use the "complete" version where you just add water).
And if you're outside the US, and can't get the waffle mix? Use your fave waffle mix, and add in some plain Ovaltine.
The key difference in taste is the maltyness - and ovaltine does a decent job.
Or - find your own malted milk powder and sub that - I use ovaltine because it's in my store

I disagree about using the pancake recipe. If doesn't have enough fat so they will tend to stick and be dry, and using buttermilk makes them get too dark like your photo posted due to the additional milk solids burning. I have the same mix and waffle maker. I can tell you, Disney adds water to their mix, not milk or buttermilk. They actually use the complete mix and just add water. This is how they can provide "egg free" waffles without needing an additional type of mix (the Complete versions have no egg or egg products). They use Golden Malted Complete as well as Golden Malted Gluten Free Complete on Disney property (this is from a friend who works in food service at Disney).
This is great information. I make waffles every weekend with my Mickey waffle iron (also not as detailed, basically just the outline) and they never come out quite like they do at the parks. They're always perfectly edible (okay most of the time LOL), but still.
