Mickey Umbrella with Ears!

We bought one of the Mickey umbrellas with ears on a trip to Disneyworld a few years ago. I use it every time it rains. The people in my office usually laugh but sometimes they make comments that hint that I'm crazy for using this umbrella. I use it because it makes me smile!

Anyone else have one and USE IT at home?

DH bought me one a few years ago when he went to a convention in Orlando. I told him to bring Mickey home with him. The umbrella was the best he could do. I loved it, but sadly its just too big to be practical. Mine must be at least 3 feet long and doesn't collapse down. I use it at home for walking around the neighborhood (people in my hood already know I'm a weirdo!), but I don't carry it in my car. I use my little Disney one for that.

Over Christmas it poured so dh bought two Mickey umbrellas but they just have the Mickey head printed all over. I wish mine had ears. I couldn't care what people think. I also use my WDW backpack instead of a purse and I also have princess checks, lol. I'm definitely a 40 yr old kid!

I don't have the Mickey umbrella, but I know what you mean. While we were on our trip, I bought a tie dyed princess tee shirt (and I'm plus size). I've gotten some really weird looks because of the princesses. I don't care much because my daughter really wanted me to have it, plus I just like it. But I'm sure it does look weird for a grown woman to wear a princess tee shirt.

I'm not sure if I'd use the umbrella. I don't like to draw attention to myself, but I think I would use it depending on how big it was.

I have that umbrella too and I LOVE it! I've had it for several years and I use it a lot.

They sell those umbrellas??? I saw a CM with one when we were there and told my dh I really, really needed one. He just laughed. All right there's one thing I'll have to look for next May.

My aunt, who I travel to WDW with a lot, and who I thank for my WDW obsession, has one. She's had it for years.

I remember one year, she lost it and was so upset. (While at WDW). So as a surprise, I bought her a new one, which she still has till this day. I have a cute picture of her with it, standing in a water fountain type thing at DTD. She gets so many comments from that umbrella, as we don't ever see many others with it!

I have a black & white faces Mickey umbrella that opens with a button and collapses that I use whenever it rains. Makes me smile

We just got back and just as we were leaving, saw someone with the umbrella with the ears. DD really wants it for Christmas. Can this be ordered on line? It was really cute!

I have the one with the ears! I love it. I always get smiles when I use it. Though, it can cause problems. My niece, nephew, and I were using it in Boston one rainy day and almost caused two traffic and one pedestrian accidents! One of the Duck Boat drivers stopped in traffic and yelled into his microphone, "Hey everyone, there is Mickey!" The two cars behind him almost collided. As we were still waiting for the crossing light, another driver slammed on his brakes, nearly getting rear ended, to ask where we got the umbrella. Then, later, someone else nearly knocked over another person to catch up with us to ask the same question.

I have one with the ears and use it from the car to school a lot. It's my way of making sure my student's know where my heart is....
