So I have 4+ boxes of these lights

They are super cool... but do not string together end to end! :sad2:

We really want to use them to decorate our site this fall, but the above makes this nigh impossible.

Has anyone ever taken the plastic parts off lights to put them on new strings? how would we attach them to real string lights?

Any suggestions you have would be helpful! TIA!

Not sure what kind of configuration you have in mind for putting them around your campsite. What you can do is get 2 adapters and 2 extension cords. Plug 2 sets of lights into one of the adapters and then plug the adapter into the extension cord. Do the same with the other adapter and extension cord. You can then stretch your lights out in different directions.

The Mickey heads do come off but they don't fit on all strings of lights. I took one with me shopping and eventually found a longer string of lights that they would fit on and not fall off. I believe I found the lights at Michaels but that was around Christmas time.

How did you get it off the string? Does it just pull off? or screw off? I have a christmas tree shop around here I can take it too Thanks for the tip! I have hope now!

Just gently twist off, there isn't a thread like they are screwed in, just a tight fit. Another thing I did, I had some that I got at the Flower & Garden, they were greens and rusts and yellows but they didn't shine very bright so I made sure I had a stronger/brighter light inside. I also have the Christmas ones and the Halloween ones, they seem brighter at night.
