Mickey Statues

I attended in Dec with two of my children. My oldest son could not get off of work. Our next trip was planned for April and since he is a huge fan of animation and of Mickey he was looking forward to seeing the statues. Since we come ofter we try to see everyting that is of interest to us. We planned this trip to come before the statues left the end of April. If we had know they were not staying he might have gave up on starting they new job until we got back. As a buisiness woman I know for a fact that people will hold you to anyting you advetise. It is a shame that Eisner dosen't care for honoring his advertising. And in my opinion he should return them after he uses them at the conference. I doubt this will happen to bad he wanted to use them for self gain instead of allowing the many visitors at WDW to enjoy them.

I think virtually everything Disney releases includes the phrase "Dates and times subject to change without notice." This one little line, unfortunately, covers a lot of ground.

However, as has been said in other threads, if this is something that is truly impacting your vacation plans -- if you feel that this is unfair and that Disney should offer some sort of compensation (or at least an apology) to you or your son for your disappointment at not being able to see the statues -- you should let Disney know.
