Does anyone know if you can buy the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars :mickeybaroutside of the parks?

I've been craving one for a while now. Luckily, I'll be able to buy one soon, but I was wondering if I could get one outside of the parks....

Any help appreciated.

I have seen mickey bars at stores. Its not the one you get in parks, but close.
I am not sure where you can get them or if they even still sell it, but i swear i have seen these not that long ago.

dang, i can't post a picture. but google chocolate ears mickey.

Maybe someone else can confirm. . .but I believe I once read that the Premium Dove brand ice cream bars taste pretty darn close. . .taste perhaps, shape. . .no :(

I've never seen Mickey, but if you have a Dairy Queen they sell boxed ice cream bars that taste every bit as good. I think $4.99 for a box of 4. :lovestruc

I disagree. I liked the Dairy Queen dilly bars when I was a little kid, but IMHO they do not in any way shape or form compare to the Mickey Ears bar with the very high quality ice cream and chocolate. I am a big Mickey Ear fan, and it's my special treat every time I go to the parks. As others have said, dove bars would be pretty close. But there is something about those Mickey ears. I wouldn't buy a Dove bar (don't want the calories), but make an exception to get the Mickey Ears treat every time I go to the MK, which is usually just once every four years.

Absolutely...Dark Chocolate Dove bars are indeed an earless Mickey Bar. I thought I read somewhere that they were made by Dove, but that is probably a closely guarded secret. If it's just the chocolate/ice cream fix you are longing for, they will certainly fill the bill. However, paying (whatever the current cost is at Disney) and biting off the ears first is an added perk.:worship:

My family has often asked this question and have tried to find them every were with no success. When we were at the World last year, I thought about getting some Dry Ice and packing a cooler full to last the year until we came back 1 yr later. (Would have realistically only lasted a week or so after several midnight snacks :mickeybar).

All the DVC resorts sell them in the grills. They even have them at the Hilton Head resort.

It's only about 40 miles away, so, we manage to find reasons to go to Hilton Head every once in a while, just to get a Mickey Ear.

Kroger USE to sell them, but, that was many years ago. I don't know if they do now or not.

OH, if you do the Back Yard BBQ (I enjoyed it, but, probably wouldn't do it more than once). they have a freezer full of them 'on the buffet' Eat all you want.
