Mickey Plates

Does anybody know which restaurant at Disneyland serves the food in black plastic Mickey heads? I saw a blog online in which a woman says the plates are too cute to throw away, but she didn't have a picture of them. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I don't know about DL, but in WDW every kids meal that comes with an entree, side and dessert comes that way. I just never bough my DS a three course meal at DLR so I'm not sure if it's that same there.

I believe I have 2 of the Mickey plates your talking about. I will post a pic tomorrow, for some reason photobucket keeps freezing up on me.

You can also get them at Plaza Inn, when you order a kids' meal. Hold on, I'm gonna go upload a photo of one...

Those things get DS to eat about anything!

We might just not have gotten him the right things, but we didn't see any of them at WDW. WDW used paper things at counter service and Mickey shaped plates that aren't to be taken home at table service. At least at the places where we ate!

You can buy similar shaped plates at Walmart, but they're not black, they usually have an animal drawn on them...but it's still the big plate with two little "ears" so very young kids can be just as enthralled with them!

Our kids got them at Plaza Inn, Pizza Port, Rancho Del Zocalo, French Market, and Taste Pilots Grill in DCA.

We have never gotten any of those plates from Disneyland, but we did bring a whole collection home from WDW in 2006. We still use them all the time and we even throw them in the dishwasher to wash them. One of the best souvenirs ever!

I was at Target today and they had some almost identical to those for sale in their housewares section! In fact, the entire back end of one of the aisles was Disney cups/glasses/plates/bowls/etc and it was all really cute! If I remember right most of it was Mickey but I think there was a villains collection too?
