Hello everyone! I need help! I am the most uncreative person ever!!! I'm looking for a pillowcase for my son for our upcoming cruise. I would like a white pillow case with Mickey or Mickey & Friends in the the middle of the pillow case for the characters to sign. Does anyone know how I go about finding/making one of these. I've looked for iron on transfers but the ones I've found are too small. What else can I do? Is there a way to just buy a done pillowcase, because if there is I can't find one. I appreciate your help!! Thanks!!!! :thumbsup2

Iron on transfers come in many sizes but the most popular is a standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. You should be able to print the design on that size and trim as you see fit and place in the center of the pillowcase.

I think that when others have done this - the characters actually sign on the cloth not on the transfer. So, you can make the design as big or small as you wish on the sheet, cut out as necessary and have the characters sign all around the transfer but on the fabric. Does that make any sense?

There are many designs and designers here on the boards - you will find more than you will ever need or use. If you see something you like and would like it customized, simply post in the thread you see it in or pm the designer. If you like something 'as is' - simply right click and save it to your computer.

We are all very friendly here - so jump on in!

Thank you for your reply. I am so new at all of this! So once I save an image to my computer, is it as simple as printing the image from my computer? Where do I buy transfer paper? Thank you! Like I said I am the most uncreative person ever and this feels like such a big project! Even though I know it probably isn't! :rotfl:

For tips to how transfers work - see this link...

But yes, it is very simple. If you buy light transfers the background is clear and for dark transfers the background is white. So if the design has any white in it and you want to put it on any other shirt color besides white - be sure to buy the dark transfer paper or else everything white in the design will be the shirt color.

I have dark transfers on my webpage (link below) that I have found to be the best on the market. I do not use light transfers, so I cannot suggest a brand for that. Simply follow the directions that come in the transfer package you buy. You'll find it is very easy!
