When I was a kid I remember having mickey shaped pancakes with some fruit at DL; this was in the lat 80's. Does anybody know if they have these at WDW...or do they even exist at DL anymore?

It's funny I don't think I have ever had these at Disney but I have had them on a cruise, in Mexico and my daughter gets me to make them for her every Sunday.:)

Chef Mickey's is the only restaurant that has a make-your-own pancake station. The chef makes them, you can add in chocolate chips or fruit.

The Mickey waffles seem to be more popular throughout WDW.

I actually haven't seen them, and I thought I'd eaten everywhere! :-) Was in Tusker House and Crystal Palace in Feb and didn't find them...

Lots of Mickey waffles though!

You're right!!!!!! :scared1: :scared1: OOPS!!!!!!! SOOOO sorry!! :scared: They are waffles. Please forgive me for my Mickey Mishap! :guilty:

I think you can still buy the Mickey waffle maker on amazon. Not sure though, but worth checking. We bought one about 3 years ago. We love it, makes great waffles (just use pancake batter). We live in the WDW area, so whenever we have family or friends that visit and stay with us to save some money, we always serve Mickey waffles on their first morning ::MickeyMo

We have one too and use it every week!

How depressing, that it seems WDW does not have Mickey pancakes!!!???!!!

Well, they are still to be had at Disneyland, at River Belle Terrace.

Sure do hope the waffles at WDW are better than the icky ones at DLR...

WDW does have Mickey pancakes!:cool1: Kona Cafe serves them and has been since at least 1983 when we first started staying there. (disclaimer....the restaurant used to be called Coral Isle Cafe)

They are on the kids menu. The regular menu has awesome macadamia nut pancakes as well as the famous Tonga Toast.
