Dis Vets. How do you get the Mickey wake up call? Is it only at the All Star resorts? We used the wake up service on our phone every night at POR, but it was just a ringing phone.
Thanks!
it's everywhere...call in to get a wakeup call (i like to pick off-times like 6:52am) and your phone will ring...you'll answer...there'll be a delay...and then Mickey or whomever will say his little spiel encouraging you to "up and at 'em!"
Enjoy!
Also, you might have a slight delay before he comes on. When we were there last, we had 2 connecting rooms. On one phone, he started right up, on the other, there was some music that started.
You can get Mickey to wake you up at any of the WDW owned resorts. Try and set it for an off time like 7:05am or 5:18am. I have this on cd. If you'd like a copy, just let me know. It's how I wake up every morning for work!
Thanks everyone!
Just to clarify though, did you get the call by pushing the button on the phone for a wake up call that walks you through a recording asking you what time and then confirming the time? or Did you call the front desk for a wake up call? Thanks.
we just pushed the button on the phone for "wake up call" & followed the recording's directions - and yes, sometimes there is a "delay" before mickey starts his "oh boy! up and at 'em!" spiel
Terk-1, where did you get the CD with the wake up call? That's so cool! I love to wake up to that at the resorts. My family used it for naps and the morning wake-up. We argued over who got to pick up the phone.
I read somewhere else about requesting off-times in order to be sure to get the Mouse Himself to do the wake up call. Have people here tried on-times, like 7:30 or 8:00 and *not* gotten a call from Mickey?
Just wondering as we leave Fri. for WDW and it would be nice to know.
Marie, that's so funny. I thought we were the only family to argue over who was going to pick up the phone. My son had a great idea though. We put it on speaker.
