We got our first fish tank in April. At Petsmart, we found a "Mickey Mouse" golden platy -- it actually has a mickey head on it's tail.
They live well with guppies. They are live bearing. They seem pretty hearty. The ones who have died have been pregnant.
We got one male and one female. The female was pg. She died, but left behind 8 little eyes-n-tails. Now we have 9 platys. Yesterday, I spotted four more eyes-n-tails! Our little 5 gallon tank is too full of Mickey Mouse fish.
So, for any of you looking for a small pet to remind you of WDW -- head to Petsmart.
