Anyone know how much the adult mouse ears cost? My husband wants me to get 6 of them for the guys in his platoon. Thanks! :flower:

Not sure of the price, but if you buy them at the shop on Main Street (I can't remember the name) they will embroider the names at no charge. I believe that you can also buy them at other MK shops and take them their with the receipt and they will also do it at no charge.

That would be really cute!

Has anyone gotten these done before your arrival??? I thought I read a post that you could call a shop and get GOH Badges, and MM Ears, then have them at your resort for check in???

(I really miss Peggy's Sweets!! :flower: )

Yes, he's already emailed me the nicknames of everyone in his platoon, so I have my little list of names to take with me. My son got the kid size last year at DL, and I *think* they were about $6....wasn't sure if the adult was the same or a couple bucks more.

I read a rumor somewhere about Disney charging an extra $2 to embroider the names- I hope this is false. Otherwise I will be asking for the manager to waive the fee for our hard working & brave soldiers. :earsboy:

I read in the 2004 Unofficial Guide to Disney that if you get the ears on Main Street in MK they are $5 each and free to embroider. It also says that is the only place that embroidery is free. They could have gone up a $1 since that's last year's guide, but that's where I plan on buying mine~ :earsboy:

I'm pretty sure that the black ones are $7.95 and the gold ones are $11.95. Embroidery is free, but they only do it at the MK. However, you can buy the hats throughout the parks.

We did Disney in December and purchased ours at MK for $7.99 and the embroidering was free and very fun to watch. The CM doing it for us even let my DS go behind the counter with her and see how she was doing it. The thread colors were gold or white. Even my two teen girls thought it was cool.

Thats so cool!!!!

I just purchased golden ears by calling WDW Merchandise for $12.95. They do not do embroidery, but she said we can take them to the place on Main Street when we arrive and they will do it for free.

Just bought 2 last week - the gold ones for the Happiest Celebration and they were $11.95 and embroidery was free on Main Street in Magic Kingdom. I think they may charge for embroidery if you buy them other places in the parks.

That is going to be great, but just so you know I believe that they will only do proper names, not nicknames. They will do Joey but not Bubba. Last time I remember them relating this to a guess. Have a great trip!!

I have a strong feeling that if your purchasing situation is explained, they may well stitch nick-names on just as long as they're not profane.

Thanks. He's Four. He makes his bed in the morning, helps with the trash and recycling, and is (in general) a much better kid than I deserve. :)
This vacation is going to be all about him...

what happened to peggy's sweets? is she ok?

Peggy posted that she is going to be a "mom" in all sense of the word... she is going to be spending more time than we can imagine - her dd wants to get into acting, and she is supporting her!! Also with fuel prices (and I'm sure a shock with pricing!! ie her website!) she wasnt making as much as she should have... could have...

but who can put a price on spirit!!

Go Peggy!!

What is the name of "The store on Mainstreet"? Where is it located? We are planning on getting these for the kids and I would love to know where I can get thier names put on for free.
