Mickey Mouse "Ears" Hats

hello all. i am new to these forums but hope someone can help me. I was @ WDW for the 1st week in April and not once did i step into the stores in the Front of Magic Kingdom so apparently i missed out on where they sell the hats you can get your name stitched in and whatnot. My boss is going to WDW next week and he said he will pick some up for me, my question to anyone who was there recently or just knows this info is How much do they cost? I want to give him the money for them to take with him, i don't want to short change him but don't want to send him with $100 for a few hats either. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

He can get hats and have them stitched at the hat shop on Main Street in MK. The "ears" run $9.95 for adults and the stitching is free. If you want the nicer embroidery, you can get it done at MGM at Celebrity 5 & 10 or at The Days Of Christmas at DTD for $7 extra per hat.

The hat shop is just to the right of the candy shop on the right side of Main St. The hat shop is very small and easy to miss. It has its own door but it may be easier to tell your boss to just go right into the candy shop and walk right through it to get to the hat shop. Good luck.

We got ours at Sir Mickeys, right near the Carousel behind the castle. I paid $7 each for a toddler and a youth size, I think. My daughter is 20 months and my son is 4 years- and they both are a bit big on them. Stitching was free. It only takes a minute to put the names on. Don't forget the tax too.

The place on Main St. USA is Chapeau, right next to Tony's Town Square Restaurant. ( on the right when you first come into MK) The only color string they had to embroider was yellow. So if you're getting a pink one for a girl, the name barely shows up. However it is free embroidering.
