Mickey Motorhome Graphic

MickeyRV1.jpg

I've been wanting to put something on the back. Wadya think?

AWESOME!! If I can talk DH into it, can I borrow your idea?

I'm all for it! If anyone is interested, just let me know and I will take a copy of the file to them and get a price.

Like Rog said, the more the cheaper!!! LOL

You should do it Jen...youve got the whole summer OFF!!! And your MH would be the eye-catchingest bus in the campground!!!
You know, just because teachers have the summer off, doesn't mean we don't work....;)
Uhm.....how about vinylizing it for a golf cart, Jen? If you actually charged enough money to cover your intensive labor - it would make it worthwhile, maybe?
Are you saying I don't charge enough now?;) Let me finish my golf cart first and then I can start puttering with projects of this scope. I still have a musket mickey outline I have to cut for your car as I remember....;)

Technical Note: If you inspect the file, you will see that the shapes are properly drawn: the cream color of Mickey's face is a shape on top of the black shape for the outline of his face rather than a cream shape that abuts the black shape like you might get with autotrace techniques. All the components are broken into their own layers in the .ai file. So it should easy to convert to cut vinyl, should that be your interest.

Enjoy!

I saw the layers, but I know how you roll. Your work is very easy to work from. I wish all work I had were this way. My life would be so much simpler.

Agreed! That is an awful lot of colors and layers! This might be one better left to the vinyl printers... despite the longevity of their product. Wait 'til you see the finished graphic... there's a field of grass and flowers in front and a forest in back, i.e. bazillions of layers!

Shan wants my head to implode I suppose!;)

Right now, I am working on the vinyl layers for the golf cart, sorry guys and gals. I have tiger claws to make, Aubie heads, and Auburn's galore. Once that is done, I should be at your disposal to play with the sign vinyl.;)
If you are going to go in to get the printed version, please remember to try your best to cover the design when you have the RV in storage. And also try to cover it with some kind of UV material. Otherwise, (and I don't care what they tell you) it won't last a year in the sun without serious fading. I just don't want y'all wasting good money. Plus, it is a bear to get off if you have not done it once or twice before.

I was playing today here is a first run on a Lic. Plate

des1954 I have the opposite problem, wife hasn't seen it yet.

steve47c See above statement.

Yay!! We're in desperate need of a camping sign, and I'd love to work with one of these to make one.

as soon as the cart is finished (I am planning on debuting it at the Fort Memorial Day Weekend), I will be glad to make you a camping sign. I know Millermousekateers and Lornaduck is on my list to have one made as well. They are the size of a real estate for sale sign. PM me after Mem Day Weekend.

Grumpy and Grandma, I am glad that we will be able to tell our mh's apart. the mickey mobile looks good on the back of your seneca. we went with muskett mickey for ours.

I'd love to see what you have in mind for that, too. Sorry to add to your workload.

As far as the original graphic, my nerd-heaven would be having Mickey and friends in a van with a trailer behind it. I'd find a way to put it on the spare tire cover. :thumbsup2

Consider yourself added to the list. It is the least I can do for your son, who is my son's brother from another mother!;)
