Mickey & Minnie Thimble

Could anyone on the board help me with discovering if I have a rare thimble set, or just your run of the mill old Disney stuff? Or direct me to some sort of collectors guide?

I found a set of Mickey & Minne Thimbles that belonged to my grandmother. Inside of them was a little handwritten note folded up that says. "1979, 50th Birthday, Gold Plated Brass".

Mickey and minnie are raised emamel (?) and both are stamped "Walt Disney Productions", you can also see a "10" on the Mickey thimble.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Walt Disney Productions indicates that it was produced between 1939-1986.

The note inside points to 1979 as the date of the gift so that falls right into the dates.
