$6 sounds just about right and if you get it from the hat shop in the MK, you can get your name embroidered on it for free!
You can find them a LITTLE cheaper at The Disney Stores, if you have one near by!

I paid $10.00 plus tax for my Minnie Ears from the gift shop at one of the All Star Resorts. The ears are on a head-band, in black fun-fur, with a red and white-polka dot bow in the centre.
