My son has a B. Day while we are in WDW this trip. He totally wants to eat with Mickey Mouse.

I was thinking Chef Mickey's or Liberty Tavern. Anyone have any suggestions? He won't eat breakfast food, so we wanted to do a lunch or dinner Mickey Meal.

Also, we've never done a B. Day At Disney before. Any recommendations???

Happy birthday to your son! I could be wrong - hopefully, someone will have better information - but I don't believe that Mickey is one of the characters at LTT. We ate there for NYE in 04 and Mickey was not there at that time.

I've never eaten at Chef Mickey's so I'm afraid I can't give much information on that.

Have a wonderful trip!

Chef Mickeys is great! Especially for a Birthday! Great food and character interaction! So much fun!

Hey go to Chef Mickey's. It is really loud but kids love it. The food was one of the best buffets at WDW. Liberty Tree is great too but not if you are looking for Mickey. There are only Daisy, Donald, Minnie, Pluto, and Chip and Dale. They may not all be there at the same time though, but no Mickey.

We just did a birthday dinner for my 3 year old at Chef Mickeys a few weeks ago. She loved it. They gave her a place mat and brought her out a cupcake with a candle in it. They sang and waved their napkins in the air. Everytime they did that she thougth they were doing it for her. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Chip & Dale were all there. Minney paid some special attention to her at our table...we had 18 of us all together...and she loved it. Minney picked her up and hugged her. She was in heaven. Your family would love dinner at Chef Mickey's. The food was good too...even though she really didn't care about that...but we did.

While Chef Mickey's is a great place we have done Oldest DD and Middle DD bday at Garden Grill. Depending on when you go..time of year and tme of day, you can have up to three charcters at your table interactng with your children for as long as you want.

For Oldest DD 6th Bday we have Mickey and Chip coloring pictures with the two oldest and Dale making music with the youngest one. They seemsed to say for as long as we wanted them to. They left for a bit and before we left we had all of them back at our table again to do the Birthday Cake and stuff.

I cant say how pleased we were with our experience there. Our oldest still talks about it. We spent her 7th Bday there too but it was a bit more crowded this time. Still got extr secial treatment because of her Birthday but not to the level of the previous year.

So, where else is Mickey? Its kind of weird right? Not too many Mickey stuff and the kid is nuts about him. So, I'll try Chef Mickey's - but if I cant get in what other places are there?

Thanks!

If you're only looking at eating dinner with Mickey, my experience remembers Chef Mickey's and at the Garden Grill (in the Land at Epcot). Not sure where else he's at for dinner. (I know he shows up at more places for breakfast).

Maybe someone else will know where else he may be for dinner??
