Only thing we get is luggage tags, ME tags, and booklet containing vouchers airline info and check-in info. Things like KTTW is given at the check-in desk along with refillable mugs, correct??

Yep. KTTW you'll get at check in. You'll actually have to go to the food court, get your mug, and check out with it. They'll take your 'mug credit' off your DP.
