Mickey Mail Has Arrived! Questions?

Hi!!

We received our Mickey Mail yesterday (yayy!!!) however we were a bit confused with regards to Disney's Magical Express..

We called a couple of weeks ago to reserve our place on DME, and I asked if we would receive any confirmation. The cast member said she "thinks so" and if we do it would probably be via email.

On our Mickey Mail it didn't mention any confirmation that we have called to book MDE and has simply said "you can still book up to 5 days before departure". We haven't received any confirmation via email.

So I was just wondering if we needed any confirmation for DME or is it simply give them a call and arrive when we land?


Also, we have booked with Mears Transportation a few years ago for airport & theme park transfers. As we are using DME, we only require theme park transfers for Universal.

However on their website we can't seem to book theme park transfers on its own as you have to book airport transfers in order to be given the theme park option.

Does anyone know how we can book just the theme park transfers with Mears?

Or can you just booked them at the Mears Kiosk at Orlando International Airport?

I emailed DME and they sent an email back to confirm the reservation.
I think the email address is
support@disneymagicalexpress.com
you give them your reservation number and arrival date etc.
We always give Mears a call from our resort room (its a free local call) and arrange a pickup and return time for Universal/IOS.

They will let you on the bus with just your hotel reservation number so long as you've booked in advance. Don't worry it's a bit hit or miss. You go to a counter to check in, they look you up and send you to the bus queue. So as long as your reservation is in the system you will be fine.
