Have you done the Mickey Magical Milestone Tour ?
How is it ?
Worth the money ?
Any surprises ?
Any 2006 reviews ?

We have been to WDW before. Our kids have done reports on Walt Disney for school projects. Would we learn something new ?
We can get the AP (15%) or Disney Visa (20%) discount, if still offered :goodvibes

Mickey's Magical Milestones is a new two-hour tour in the Magic Kingdom. Tour-goers age 10 and up visit attractions and special locations that retrace Mickey Mouse's fabled career. The tour, which costs $25 per person, is held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m., starting at the Guided Tour Garden adjacent to City Hall (just inside the Magic Kingdom Main Entrance). There is a 15 percent discount available for DVC Members and Annual Passholders. Arrive at least 15 minutes before tour start time (theme park admission is NOT included in tour price). For more information and reservations call 407-WDW-TOUR (939-8687).

We did this last month. It was me, DH, DS10, and our 2 40-something friends. We REALLY enjoyed it. DS is a huge fan of "vintage" things and he enjoyed hearing about the history of Mickey. He already knew the answers to many of the questions our guide asked, but he loved the tour. We got a AAA discount and I think it was worth the money.

There are a couple of surprises. PM if you would like to know what they are specifically. I'll just say here that we had a character surprise, VIP treatment in one attraction, and we all received a fun keepsake at the end.

DD15 and I did this tour on Sept. 13. It was us, a 20-something couple, and a 20 something young woman.

I echo what jackskellingtonsgirl said. It was fun and interesting, not too long, and some neat surprises. If you're a Disney fanatic like us, you'll know lots of the information already, but we did learn some new things we didn't know too.

I would say it's definitely worth the money, as it's one of the least expensive tours available. We did get the Disney VISA discount.

it was a fun tour! I did this tour solo last year while Dh was playing golf - I'm 50-ish. I enjoyed the little known facts and the surprises.

Hope you enjoy if you decide to do that tour.

Thanks to all. I called today for April 6, 2007 - Good Friday.
We'll do the MM tour and then head off to EPCOT to avoid the MK crowds.

I did not know you could make a reservation for MMM before the 180 day mark. :goodvibes

They said the MMM tour can handle 15 people. There were some people on the tour already - so now there are only 6 spots left for 4/6/07.

We did receive the 20% Disney Visa discount - so it was just $20 a person :goodvibes

Thank you for all your help. :thanks:

This is the best place for information :disrocks:
