Mickey loses an eye during sail away party

Oooops!!!! I didn't mean to bring this back up. I was trying to search for a thread that I posted in regarding a 2015 cruise on the Magic.

Oh my gosh! I'm cracking up! I needed that this morning! Thank you for your accidental dredge of an old post. That rocked! :)

I'm also glad you accidentally posted on an old post. I hadn't seen this and needed the laugh this morning! That is hilarious.

Well then I'm glad that I accidentally brought it back up if it brought you smiles this morning.....I haven't seen the video in a while either and I was just laughing with my DD at how she was just waiving and waiving away until she noticed Mickey's eye. It was so funny to see her hand stand still immediately mid waive.

I missed this thread the first time around.

and Thank You Very Much for accidentally posting to it - Great Video. Even better Recovery by Mickey!!!

Saw Peter Pan loose his hat once during Dreams ... unfortunately his hair was attached to it :scared1:

Ok...so I am wondering....obviously the show is pre recorded so how do they remove the parts where Mickey is talking since he's no longer in the show....???? Things that make you go hmmmmm.......

That's a good point Emily. I actually recorded the entire performance but alas it's sitting on a flash drive somewhere in my craft room with all of our pictures from our vacations. I want to go back and look at it to see if Mickey's parts were just playing out and the rest of the cast just worked around it. I honestly can't remember because I did not notice that his eye had fallen out or that he had left the show until after the performance was over and I looked at my camera. I heard my daughter telling me his eye fell out but I didn't know exactly what she was talking about.

Same here! I think it's pretty funny/cute! I know it might be confusing to kids, but as an adult I think that video is priceless :rotfl: Mickey did a great job though, I know I wouldn't be able to keep rocking out if I only had one eye!

Oh My Gosh! I know this is an old post, but I'm glad it got resurrected. I am dying laughing!!! Poor Mickey! :magnify:

I've never seen this before either, so I'm glad that it got resurrected. Very funny to adults and maybe a little traumatic to the little ones. A long time ago on one of our cruises, they had a Q&A. One of the children wanted to know where the characters sleep at night?? Ponder answering that question!

how funny, and did anyone else think Mickey was signing to the cast member about what happened? I'm not familiar with the show, so maybe it's just hand movements but it appeared to me that he was signing to CM who came over.
