I am not a crafty person and was wondering if anyone could tell me where I might find one to purchase. The ones I have seen have been truly amazing!

Thanks!
Donna

Not sure I know what you are talking about. There is a sticky thread about the Mickey Light Post. We have several different sets of Mickey Icon awning lights...Easter colors, Primary colors, and Halloween pumpkins with Mickey ears.

Thanks for the help with my wording!

I'll check it out....maybe someone can give me pointers or point me to someone else...

THANKS!
Donna

Hi DonnaBelle06. I brought the instruction thread back up to the first page. Have fun!

I made these with 4" acrylic globes from Lowes and plastic toy baseballs from Wal-mart. Drilled the holes with a hole saw drill bit and use an old set of red white and blue party lights to light them up. We were right along the main road next to a bus stop (lopp 600) and I lost count of how many times I was asked where I bought them. :)

Saw these last week when we were at the Ft., and they are great! Had to call my buddy in N.C. to let him know what the next project needs to be...

How did you attached the plastic baseballs to the globe? It looks like you only drilled a hole for the party lights to fit inside. Is this correct.

Those are really cute lights. Gotta have some!!pirate:

No, I also drilled holes where the baseballs mounted up as well, plus cut out holes in the balls themselves. Unfortunately, the balls are a little too opaque and don't let the light through as much as I wanted.

I glued the balls on with Gorilla glue and then caulked with clear silicone to seal it up.

LOVE THEM looks like my DH has his next project;)

Where can you buy mickey awning lights? I want some!! Are they expensive?

I just finished my Mickey Lamp Post before we left for vacation and now I have another project when we get back from Disney. DH is going to kill me, but what the heck. I love those lights!

I love coming up with new ways to make mickey lights...these are great!
