I don't have an answer, but do you think that checking with a big box electronics retailer might be helpful?

Mine is a Epson but I am not sure of the exact model. If I can find it, I will post. My recommendation is to check the forums of backyardtheater.com. They are to outdoor movies what disboards are to WDW. Their recommendation of a good deal on a projector is what got me started.

I then got an inexpensive surround sound system from Wal-mart which works well.

BTW, I bought my inflatable mickey screen from Home Depot and love it! Hmm.... I mean all the kids love it.

Also, the cost of the projectors have come down in the last few years, there are so many options, but make sure to check the ability to show up in ligthed areas.... There is a company in Birmingham, AL that we got ours from, Longs Electronics, check them out and see....

If you are not in a hurry, places like slickdeals.net and woot.com are great websites to watch for great deals on electronics.

3 things to make sure to check on before buying one.
How many lumens does it put out, how long does the bulb last, and how much is a replacement bulb. Some bulbs can almost cost as much as the projector itself.
