Is there anyway to get a few of these mailed to me for a surprise for a friend??? Anyone know?

You can try calling the Disney Merchandising number. They ship stuff from the parks. I am not sure of the number though. I am sure someone here will have it.

You could try Disney merchandise services: 407.363.6200 (number is on all wdw receipts) -- they have boxed mickey rice crispy treats.. they will probably ship those. I think they were $8 or $10 a box.

The fresh ones, or the giant ones you see in the bakery though.. disney won't ship those.. or atleast, as of a few years ago they wouldn't. The wouldn't ship any of the fresh stuff that was made in the parks. At the time, they had chocolate covered mickey oreos with mickey heads on them, but I digress...

Good luck!

Are the boxed ones just plain rice krispie treats shaped like mickey that we could dip in chocolate and stuff at home? That is what i want to do...as part of a party.

Why don't you find some one who is there now and pay them to buy them and send them. Every once in a while my dad heads over to Germany in WS and buys DH some dark chocolate non-parlines because he needs them. They ship quite well. I think my mom put them in bubble wrap and sent them over night.

Or you could make them yourself just draw out a simple mickey head on cardboard to use as a stencil.

Are those rice treats good? As many times as I've been to Disney I never got one.

I believe that they will not ship perishables.

That is my ONE treat I ALWAYS get each visit to Disney. I love them and only eat it there :rotfl2:

There are always so many great people on the DIS, maybe you can paypal'em and they can pick em up for you at the resort (thats where I always get it).
I mean shipping is a cinch if they are prepared ahead with a small box and your address all packed and ready to go, postage is available at conciege.
Good Lucky, YUMMY! :lovestruc

Oh yes those are great. The chocolate on them is great.

Its our ONE and only as well...except its usually two, or three or four : )

Or you could buy the big ones from Selma's (I think I heard that they supply a lot of things to Disney?). They have the gift boxes with the big cookies, rice krispies...etc.

I got a few last year on my visit.. RK treats are on of my all time favorites but I was not in love with the WDW's. Main reason is they taste alot like the ones you can buy in the boxes in the grocery stores and they are not very "crispy". Mainly because of the weather down there. :(

To the OP, I would get a Mickey head cookie cutter and make up a batch of your own.. it will be much cheaper and taste much better. You can get lollipop sticks at most craft stores too. :)

I buy from selma's online a couple of times a year -- they don't sell the Mickey head treats online, but they sell most of the other pre-wrapped varieties found in the parks. www.selmas.com

I've also seen Selma's sold on QVC.

If you have a TJ Maxx nearby, I've found Selma's products there, too.

What I did is buy the big cookie cutter shaped as a Mickey head..it was cheap actually and always make my own. Easy once you have the cookie cutter...and cheaper too...

Maybe you could call merchandising and have them ship the cutter and make your own?

I have been looking for a Mickey head cookie cutter, but have not located one. Where did you find yours?:confused3

Selma's is the official supplier of most of the baked goods, including the rice krispie treats, you see at the parks. She handles all the theme parks, in fact. My co-worker works there part-time (yay for free samples!) Obviously, due to contractual/licensing issues, she cannot sell the Mickey shaped ones outside of Disney. As someone else pointed out, I don't believe Disney will ship perishable items though.

Wilton has a MM shaped cake pan that you could purchase and make the treats in that. That way you will have it other occasions also. It is about the size of the very large Krispy Treats at the parks.

I bought mine in DtD this past January. It was $3. And the main reason that I bought it was so that I could make Mickey head-shaped Rice Krispie treats.
