Codes for the ears are one time only use codes. Trading for ears is a popular activity. Try it. You'll probably make a new friend.

actually, GOLD ears are a code.
BLACK ears are if you create your character in the park.

I have a set of the blue ears and black from trade. I have recieved and traded gold ears twice now and recieved another set today in trade.

Oh, sorry. No I don't remember the blue ears. Have a black pair from Disneyland Paris though. They got chewed up some on the ears by a one yr old though, so not the prettiest ears in the world.

Making new friends is true. I traded with Califgirl and got ears for pins. But I also included the tiki fountain because she was so nice and I got a pair of Gold Ears. Trading is a good way to make new friends and help others who are new to VMK gives you a nice starting place. Thanks Again Califgirl love the ears.

No you can buy any hat - just make sure you ask for the VMK card. Since it is new to the cast members - they forget to give out the cards. I had good luck in Magic Kingdom Hat Shop.

No, you do not have to buy the real golden ears. Just buy any hat at the hat shop on Main Street, but make sure you ask for the code card! I was told they stopped automatically giving out the cards with a purchase, you must ask for them.
