We won't be at FW this year for Halloween but will be next year!

We do have a Halloween campout we are going to in a couple weeks at our local state park. They do trick or treating and a campsite decorating contest. We've never entered it but I'm thinking of doing a Disney/mickey theme and making it a "friendly and not scary" sites like some folks do.

I'm going to have my hubby make a few ghost mickeys out of wood for me and I have a few more ideas but wondered if any of the folks on here had any ideas.

I'm trying to find a Halloween campsite thread on here to get ideas but haven't found it yet, if one does exist?

Just ordered very cute Mickey and Minnie "porch greeters" form Kmart online. Mickey is in a skeleton costume, Minnie in a ladybug. And they were onsale!!

What State Park are you going to? I'm not real familiar with the Southern Ohio State parks, and we're always looking for new spots. We have spent lots of time in Northern Ohio around the Lake Erie Islands, and really had a great time.

This one is called Paint Creek state park. It's a really nice one. Don't know how close you are to Cincinnati but they have a few there too...Stonelick and Ceasar's Creek are both nice too and most of our state parks have a Halloween campout at some time in October.

Thanks for all of the info on the disney halloween stuff! I'll have to check out our local Kmart. Walgreen's supply wasn't too good...I think people have bought stuff already!

I stopped by Walgreen's after work today and they had a good assortment of the inflatable Mickey heads. At first I was going to buy the basic pumpkin one, but then I saw the Mickey Pirate pumpkin head. When I went to grab it, I noticed that behind it was a Mickey black bat pumpkin head. Decisions, decisions! I bought the bat, but then told DH about the pirate one, so I'm going back tomorrow to get it too. We will be at the Fort in a few weeks and I plan to have our site all decorated!

Has anyone else run into defective Mickey inflatable pirate pumpkin from Walgreens? They were in the ad today and we've now gone and gotten two (from two separate Walgreens) and on both the ears are crooked. I kid you not, the face is under his left ear.

I think we're going to go try to get the bat and maybe have better luck?

I just checked mine and it appears to be fine. I was a little confused by what appeared to be a smaller black ear just above his eye though. Turns out it was the pirate eye patch!

I ended up finding a pumpkin Mickey...I better get him out of the box and check him out!

I found Mickey Head Halloween string lights on clearance at a Disney store in Arundel Mills Mall (MD) BF and I bought 3 sets for our campsite!
