How do I get the claim ticket to pick it up from baggage claim? Do they leave it at the front desk under my name or ressie#? How does this work if I'm not staying at POP?

Also, if I'm not staying at POP, if I call luggage services with the claim # will they bring me the stroller or do I have to go get it? Sorry for all the questions, I just don't want to mess up the swap by doing something wrong.

I left a plastic hook on there, I don't know how long it will hold up for though.
I like the hooks better than the mommy hook. Good extra disneymoon95!

I was lucky enough to find a $25 single stroller on Orlando Craigslist and they will deliver it right to my hotel. It's not as nice as the Mickey Express but at least I don't have to bring one with.

SOOOOOO I will have a gift for someone the day we leave. I'm sure there will be more than one family that could use a free stroller.

You wouldn't get the actual paper ticket, the person who gets the ticket would give you the ticket number. The reason we are getting the ticket is if anything were to happen to the stroller we have proof of putting the stroller in storage, and also to deter the stroller from walking.

I don't think luggage services will bring you the stroller. With all of the talk on the boards about no longer holding things for guests, I think the chance for that is slim. Maybe you can work something out with the person behind you to make it easier to pick up. We've been lucky to fill most of our dates, for the most part the stroller is in storage for just the night.

Hope this helps, the questions aren't a problem!

Hi everyone, I just wanted everyone to know that the stroller doesn't have a box. We threw it away because I planned on getting the stroller bag to go along with it. Just to update everyone, the stroller bag and the sun parasol have been delivered to the resort. I'm going to call nicole to let her know it should be at the front desk.

I spoke with Nicole yesterday and arranged a face-to-face swap. Thanks for putting this together.:worship:

That sounds great to me! I can't imagine that a box would survive very long anyway! :)

I have a question about the claim ticket. The family using the stroller before me is leaving on the 7th and we are arriving on the 8th. They aren't going to have enough time to send me the claim ticket and I won't have access to email while we are at WDW. So if they just leave the stroller at the front desk or baggage claim or what ever it is with my name and reservation number on it will that be enough. We will be arriving around noon the next day so it should be there less than 24 hours. I'm just wondering if I will be able to pick it up without a claim ticket or claim ticket number.

The person behind you would leave the stroller in baggage claim and give you the claim ticket number. If they could call you with the number that would be great. The claim ticket is more of an insurance, proof that the stroller was put in luggage claim. You shouldn't even need the numbers. Your name and ressie is usually enough. We just need the claim ticket if somehow the stroller gets lost.

Thanks for the info. I still need to get her my reservation number. But she did mention she could text me the claim ticket number just so I would have it. I'm glad she thought of that because I never would have thought of it. I'm still in the dark ages I've never texted on my phone before

I'm sorry I didn't notice it earlier, but the 13 is already taken. I pm'd you , if your still interested let me know.:flower3:

I paid through paypal. I arrive on the 13th in the afternoon so I would not need a stroller that soon. Anytime that I can get it will be great.
