This may already be on here, but I can't find it.
Mickey Ears. Is there any way you can get them beforehand to have personalized or what? Anyone know prices or anything? I know I went a long time ago when I was about 6 and I don't remember much but I do remember my pink ears with my name on the back. I want my two girls (8 and turning 5 at WDW) to have them. Any tips or pointers would be great.

I'd like to know as well. I would like to pre-order a few pairs as well.
Thanks for asking pheathers24.

I believe I read on here somewhere that you can buy them and have them personalized at one of the shops in Magic Kingdom. If you want them before you leave, try going to the laughingplacestore.com and search mickey ears, I bought my DD a pair on this site for our last trip but they do not personalize. Hope this helps??

Well, they just opened a Create-Your-Own-Mickey Ears store in DtD (as well as a Create-Your-Own Disney Tee-Shirt store). There's also one in Magic Kingdom. This provides you with a lot of personilization options. You could go to DtD the afternoon of your arrival and have your daughters create their own Mickey Ears to where throughout your vacation.

Have fun at WDW!

Since this will be our first trip to Disney, we plan to surprise our kids with gift baskets sent to the resort (from Mickey of course). The gift baskets will have personalized ears, autograph books, etc....

We plan to use www.memoriesbybetsy.com - I have had alot of people from the DIS boards highly recommend her. I know that she can personalize the mouse ears for you. She just charges the price of the item, and then a delivery fee. Maybe you could email her and ask the prices, and either have them sent to the resort, or even mailed to you beforehand.

Just went to this site and you can get personalization on your ears - very cool!

Does anyone happen to know how the prices for create-your-own mickey ears compare to the prices online at laughingplacestore.com? I think this might be something fun to do, but I'm worried that the cost will be a whole lot more. Any suggestions?

We just got back from WDW (dec 27-29) and purchased ears for my girls, it cost $3 each to get them embrodiered with their names at Disney. Hope this helps.

Thanks!
Do you happen to remember how much the actual ears were? I thought it would be fun for them to pick out their own ears since there are so many. I thought there were just a couple, boy was I wrong.

We're heading down soon so I've been looking for these too. I stumbled on a website that gives you the choices + will personalize them for you too! I want to get these in advance for that cool group photo when you enter Disney....versus one more thing to wait for...:thumbsup2

My girls both got pink ones, that say Princess on them with a princess crown attached at the front and a veil on the back...I think they were around $14 each (give or take a $1.00)

They have TONS of them to choose from oh my goodness lol they have ones for the princesses, ones with pirate theme (POTC), bridge/groom ones, so many I seriously cant' remember them all!

It took my girls a good 15 mins to pick some out, they found one, then they found another and another lol. :rotfl2:

Thank you so much. Do you remember which store that was at? Did they personalize for a decent price?

We bought the ears at Tinkerbells Treasures if I am not mistaken and then took to Sir Mickeys for embroid. The embroid was $3 each for them.
