Mickey Ears

We always have "Hat Day" in MK, usually on the first day of our trip. Last year we all got the gold Mickey ears for the Happiest Celebration on Earth and had our names embroidered on them. I must admit that I have found occasions on which to wear them at home, but I won't elaborate....

At Easter, I bought some gold ears and wore them all day at MK. Lots of CMs told me they were happy to see someone wearing ears (there weren't many wearing them that day), and I had sooo many other guests ask me where I got them! DH didn't want gold ears, but he does want graduation ears when we go this October if they still have them, since he graduates in December. We thought he was going to graduate in May 07, but recently moved the date up. He also says he wants some of the new pirate ears, so I may get another pair, maybe some minnie or pirate princess ears. I love my mouse ears!

We've only been to WDW once but my oldest son and I wore the regular Mouse Ears ALL 5 DAYS!!! We loved them. My little boys wore them about 2 days and DH wore them one day. We plan on wearing them in December. I LOVE them!

We adults won't be wearing any, but our 3 DS's will! I just got mine from the Laughingplace.com. We got the classic black with each boy's name embroidered on the back.
Maybe I'm just weird but I got teary eyed when I saw them and put one on my 5 month old.
Now I just can't wait to get there!
We got the hats early because I wasn't sure how long the wait would be to get them at the Parks and wait to have them embroidered. I just knew that all 4 boys (DH was included in that count) would not have the patience to wait in a store when there are alllll those rides and sights to see right outside the door! It was self preservation ladies and gents, pure and simple!
By the way, I'm sure DH would probably wear ears but I won't...I just don't like hats!! Too itchy! Though I may change my mind in the FL sun!

i always find it amusing when i wear my ears going into the park.People give you such funny looks when you board the car park tram.It's as if you aren't allowed to wear them until you pass through the gates.
Would love to see the same people later in the day when they have bought their silly hats and ears!
