Mickey Earrings Q.......

Anyone know what the Mickey Mouse head earrings are made of....you get like three pairs for $10 in the resort shops ....I think i'm allergic to mickey mouse

I don't know....but, I have a pair of good earrings I have worn for years and they are starting to bother my ears to wear! Do we build up an immunity? Are your earrings pierced earrings?

Do you have nickel allergies? I do and have to be careful what I wear. More than likely unless the earrings say they are nickel-free, the have it. It's a common allergy.

Try coating the posts with a thin layer of clear nail polish. Let dry really good. You will have to do this again every so often. It works for me hopefully it will work for you.

It's most likely made out of stainless steel.

I'm allergic to nickel - what I do is get a sheer bandage, cut it up small, put post through the bandage, then put the adhesive side of the bandage on my ear. This way no nickel is touching my skin. This allergy comes in handy though, cuz I tell my hubby that I'm only able to wear Tiffany sterling silver earrings Please don't tell him !

I beleive teh posts are surgical steel posts---and the contents of the actual earring will be an inexpensive metal made to look like silver or gold but not the real thing.

I am allergic to surgical steel posts. So no 3 for $10 earrings for me! They are cute--but not worth the pain and yuckiness that occurs.
