I've seen the standard thin fancy writing for the names on the back of the ear hats .. but I've also seen thicker different fonts embroidered ..

Does anyone know where I can get the different fonts done and what the prices are for the standard embroidery vs thicker font?

The fine embroidery where you get to pick your font and thread color is available at Days of Christmas at DTD and at Celebrity 5 & 10 at MGM. It is $7.91 per hat with tax.

How much are the hats without the embroidery?

(Sorry to butt in ...)

It depends on the hat. They range from $9.95 for the classic black adult ears ($8.95 for youth) to $14.95 for the Adult Princess Ears with the crown or the Youth Pirate Ears. There are many different varieties of ears available.

So if I was to buy the mickey ears at Magic Kingdom on Main Street I'd only have the standard embroidary to chose from right? How much is that and can you pick different colors?

Thanks Feralpeg! I was thinking of the classic black ears ... so if I wanted the ears embroidered it would be $9.95 + $7.91?

The princess ears with the crown sound neat. Would you happen to have a pic?

TIA! :goodvibes

I had my DS6 Mickey ears embroidered at the embroidery shop on Main Street and it was only $2.00. (It's at the corner just around the corner from the confection shop) I had bought the ears earlier that day at a different shop and just took them there for the name. They didn't offer me any choices as far as font, but the price couldn't be beat! :thumbsup2

dd had her ears embroidered for $2 in the hat store on main street. Ds got it done in the christmas shop in DTD in red thick font and it was $7. DW was not impressed.

It used to be free, so you could definitely beat the price in the past! :lmao:

We got ours @ the 5 @ 10 in MGM last yr and there were different fonts and colors as well. I know there was a charge for sure, but I don't recall what it was. DF paid for it all. I have the pink princess ears with the little tiara and veil on it, but I don't know how to post pictures. We "engaged" and the date put on the back of ours. DF just got the plain black ears...hint...don't get the red on the black it dosen't really stand out all that well. Hope this helps. :goodvibes
