We have our family room decorated with vintage looking Disney attraction posters. On the one wall (very log wall) I wanted to break it up a bit. I would like to put up something in the shape of a mickey head in the middle of the wall....using 3 round objects (ie two for the ears and one for the head). We want it to be somewhat subtle...nothing too obvious.

I first thought about 3 round mirrors, but now I am thinking about 3 round clocks....

My question is, if I do a 24 inch clock for the head, about what size should I do for the ears? I don't want to do too big or small and make it look weird. It is a big wall, so space isn't too much of an issue.

You could measure the diameter of a mickey head and ears and then adjust the size for your clocks. For example ( I'm just making up numbers here), if a mickey head is 3 inches in diameter and the ears are 1 inch then for your clocks the big clock would have to be 3x's the size of the ears, so say 24" big and 8" small.

How about your do the ears in mirror, and then the face in the clock.... just to break it up a bit!
