We put a Mickey berm in last fall and several folks asked to see what we did with planting in the spring...here it is in the day

Of course, DW wanted to re-do all of the landscaping. We compromised and re-did the side closest to the camera (by porch).

I love that idea! You did a great job. :D

Mark I remember seeing the original and thinking wow what a cleaver idea.

That is cool. Thank you for the pictures...

You really did a fabulous job, Mark, it looks great! :) It must be the talk of the neighbourhood! :)

Thank you again for sharing it with us. :)

That is wonderful! How did you do the lighting?

Thanks for the compliments! PamOKW - we use rope lighting. If you look at the stones from the side, it looks like an "L" on it's back. The rope lighting sits in the bend or the elbow of the stone. We change the rope lighting to go with the seasons - we had orange for Fall, Red and Green for Christmas, Red and White for Valentine's Day, multi-color now for Easter/Spring (shown in picture), and we'll be switching to either read and blue or maybe red, white and blue for Summer. I found a company out in Las Vegas that sells rope lighting at whatever length you need (it takes roughly 48 feet to go around Mickey's head). Otherwise, you can find rope lighting at Target or Wal-Mart in 18 foot lengths.
If you have any questions, just let me know.

Just sent my DH the link to your pictures and told him that's what I want for Mother's Day! :) Thanks for sharing!
