Mickey bar?

Does anyone know if there are any counter service places where you can get an mickey icecream bar as your dessert on the DDP?

If not, can anyone recomend any counter service locations that serve good desert options?

Also ive heard that if you do order icecream as dessert, you can get it when you finish your other food so it wont melt as your eating, is that true for all CS places? and how exactly does that work?

You can get a Mickey bar as dessert or as a snack at any resort CS location. As for grabbing it later, just check with a CM to be sure they allow this. We were able to do this at CBR's grab & go section during a non peak time. At Pop I grabbed it with my lunch but I didn't ask or want to wait.

I will also add that Main Street Bakery offers sandwiches (pre made) as the entree and a plethora of dessert options. One DIS favorite is the ice cream cookie sandwich. Like all of the dessert there they are HUGE. Not sure you'd want need to wait to grab that one. It sort of serves as either motivation to finish that sub or a worthy distraction so you don't feel bad about saying forget it I'm going in.

Don't know where you're staying, but some of the resorts have good CS desserts. Last year we stayed at Saratoga Springs, and the dessert selections were fantastic. They had LARGE slices of cheesecake (several types) as well as ice cream, cookies, and other types of cakes. Some of us always ended up bringing our dessert back to the room. They WILL let you keep the ice cream in the case until you're ready to eat it (or take it).

We did this at the waterpark CS's last year..we just held onto our receipt and got the mickey bar when we were done eating.
