Mickey at Auberge

Hi everyone!

Hopefully somebody out there can help?! The other day on my screen popped up a photo of Mickey Mouse dressed up like a Prince doing meet and greet inside Auberge de Cendrillon.

I was in awe of the photos and it looked absolutely fabulous... so naturally I told friends about this... since then, do you think I can find these pictures anywhere?!

Can anybody help?

Karen, in all fairness - even in my dreams when you were part of 'neighbours from hell' I still stuck up for you I am just SUCH a good person!

I'm sure I saw these photos Monday night, but cannot for the life of me think where?! There goes my memory....

Being a dyslexic, I tend to merge images in my mind... Perhaps you did the same?

I KNEW I didn't imagine it....

I know this picture of in the Disneyland Hotel - however this is the EXACT costume I saw a photo of Mickey in l'auberge... now I'm one step closer at least!!

could it be on the Auberge restaurant thread Adam, among the first pages? I also remember seeing pics of Mickey and Minnie there in Prince/Princess garb, but I think it might have been not long after the Auberge changed to a character meal only.

It may have been... I guess it will crop up again sometime

You're not imagining it! I was reading a TR the other day and saw Mickey dressed as a prince.

Not the picture you have seen because I didn't have it online before. But there you go - this is my shot from July 18. Definitely no dream.

Well you already found my picture of Prince Mickey/Princess Minnie in the Disneyland hotel... was going to ask if they were the outfits you saw... but that Vala, your picture is from this July?! hadn't heard that Mickey and Minnie started making appearances there... might have to check it out when we are there in two weeks.

Yes, this July. July 18. My reservation time was 1.50 PM if memory serves me correct. Mickey was part of the regular character meal cast, there was no other prince and no princess Minnie.

I was totally stunned too. I had not heard a word about this either and when I had been on July 15 there was no sign of Mickey.

Actually I only saw part of the hat and the feather first because there were some people standing around Mickey and thought it was Prince Philip. When the crowd parted and I saw Mickey's ears I almost dropped my bag.

That was where I saw it!!! I was looking through Lilacgems23's gorgeous photos and my jaw dropped when I got towards the end and saw Mickey in Auberge!!!

I can only imagine your face when you saw him in there!! I would've had a similar reaction myself!!

That is awesome he shows up there sometimes now... hopefully Princess Minnie will as well. That being said... doubt we will be eating there anytime soon. Ate there once last year and wasn't that impressed with the food... if we are going to spend that much would much rather eat at Inventions... much better food

Very glad you like our pictures! obviously have them from all the resorts but for the last 2.5 years have been going to DLP more than any of the others so have LOTS of DLP pictures

Last time I ate in there in July 2009, I had the pleasure of meeting Princess Minnie and so many have been jealous of that since, now I am jealous of Prince Mickey!! If this is a regular thing I might chance a meal in there at the end of August, I shall eat there on a whim after asking a few friends first
