Mickey and the Monduhrail! The Stitchs' World Tour! Update 11/1!

What a handsome little Man!!! Big D Auntie Nan sends her love!!! The kids send high fives...

I don't know about your Brooke, but I can't catch up with anything even with the kids back at school... so I was glad to see you updating again!

great photos at breakfast and on the beach :goodvibes I love that sweet little happy face!

Aww thanks!! He loved every minute--and so did we!

The Poly is probably the "happy place" for so many of us. It's just beautiful.

It was so beautiful! I had hoped to stay there in 2013, but I was overruled by my little guy! ;)

Update coming in the post after this one!

After our Poly perfection ;) , we headed back to Wilderness Lodge and got ready to go to the pool! D loved the water again, and thought it was great fun!

We had lunch at Roaring Forks and went back to take a nap! It was such a great way to spend the day—relaxing before heading out to a park that night! :thumbsup2

After nap, we took some pictures around the resort before making our way to the Magic Kingdom!

After our resort touring, we were off to the Magic Kingdom!

My plan was to stay that night and watch “Magic, Memories, and You” and “Wishes”. We got there about 4 pm or so, and we decided to grab some dinner (because after all, we hadn’t eaten in the last hour! Lol!!).

Our first stop, though, was Mickey and Minnie! We can’t miss a time on that one! 

We stopped at Pecos Bill for dinner, and D and I had one of the back rooms all to ourselves as we waited for Brian to go get food!

On the way to our next destination, we took our Disney tradition pic—I have this pic of me and D from the time he was 14 months old on. We take it every trip!

IMG_1358_zps3c426fe3.jpg

After dinner, we headed to D’s mission of the evening—Dumbo & as he calls it, “Cars” (Tomorrowland Speedway)! We went over and waited in line for Dumbo—it was still a big hit, even though we’d already done it.

After Dumbo, it was off to the “Cars”. D & Brian went down to drive, and I waited on them in the Grandstand.

IMG_1392_zps032dbef3.jpg

D thought that was the greatest ride ever!!

I went down to the walkway to take pics as they went by, and it started to sprinkle. Then, all of a sudden, it became the FLOOD of All Time!! It was pouring!! Brian and D got off of the ride about that time, and we RAN as fast as we could to get under the walkway at the store across from the ride (the covered area at the ride was already jam-packed!).

We were all soaked, and D’s legs were getting wet in the stroller, so we made the executive decision to head back to Wilderness Lodge! We came in, relaxed, and got ready for bed! Definitely a crazy end to our Magic Kingdom day, but we had fun anyway! :)

that's a happy looking boy driving his car! you all need to go to DLR and see Carsland....will send you some photos of when we go in March!

bummer about the rain, but nice for a relaxing evening!

We're hoping for a trip to Carsland in the Spring of 2014! D would definitely loe it!! Can't wait to see photos! :thumbsup2

Stitchs See the Stars!!

This morning was our Hollywood Studios day! This is Brian’s favorite park!

Photo0341FourBySix.jpg

Photo0343FourBySix.jpg

We got there just a little bit before opening, and then made the mad dash to Toy Story Mania! The ride was down, so we went ahead and got our FastPasses. I really wanted to make sure D got pics made with Buzz and Woody, but they weren’t open yet.

We made our way over to Star Tours while we waited! Brian was excited to ride the new, re-done model! D and I spent our time playing on the Speeder Bike and shopping in the store (you have to check out the new Disney Racers, of course! ;) )

Photo0283FourBySix.jpg

Photo0286FourBySix.jpg

After Brian finished the ride (he gave it an enthusiastic two thumbs up!), we headed over to Starring Rolls to get a “snack”. The food is SO good!! I got a cinnamon roll, and Brian got an apple Danish! Yes, it was a big “snack”, but it was SO yummy!

Since we were all “sugared up”, we headed off to meet Buzz and Woody! The line wasn’t too long, and we used the time to take lots of pictures in the queue.

And another of my “favorites” from this trip:

IMG_1144.jpg

Finally, it was time to meet the main guys! :dance3:

Photo0297FourBySix.jpg

That mission completed, we decided we’d ride Toy Story Mania! D wasn’t really thrilled with the idea, but he went along with it. I don’t think he liked the ride much, but since we have gotten home and been talking about next trip, he seems to think he *did* like it. Who knows! ;)

Then, it was off to something we KNEW D would like! Sorceror Mickey! We waited in line for a while—actually Brian waited in line, and we played the games—and then made it up for our turn.

Photo0318FourBySix.jpg

Photo0319FourBySix.jpg

The PhotoPass photographer kept laughing at D and his “cheezie face”. Finally, Mickey was curious, and he turned D around so he could see it! This caused lots of laughter for everyone there!

I had one other mission for our DHS day—to meet two of my VERY favorites. . .Phineas and Ferb!! I absolutely love that show! I know it’s for kids, so maybe that says something about my intellectual level!

We got in line, and it looked like the wait would be about 30 minutes. D & I decided to leave Brian in line to check work emails, and we headed to meet Lightning and Mater! The PhotoPass photographer was gone from their setup, so I had to take the pictures myself. I was afraid D wouldn’t go up there and stand (since they don’t interact as much), but he did—at least long enough for our pictures!

IMG_1155.jpg

That took us about 15-20 minutes, so when we finished, it was almost our turn for Phineas and Ferb. It was just starting to sprinkle, and we were afraid we would miss seeing them, but we made it! I think it was my favorite character interaction of the whole trip! They were definitely the two that D reacted to the most!

Photo0312FourBySix.jpg

On the way to lunch, we ran into some other “Stars”! Of course, we had to stop for pictures!

Photo0335FourBySix.jpg

IMG_1162.jpg

By that time, it had been 2-2 ½ hours since we ate (you know, in WDW, it seems like you eat every 30 minutes, so that was a LONG time by those standards! :rotfl:) We headed to ABC Commissary for lunch. That is not my favorite restaurant, but it was close, and the line for Pizza Planet was huge!

D & I waited at the table and Brian got our food! Chicken nuggets for D (of course) and a hamburger with FRIED SHRIMP (hello, goodness!) on it for me & Brian! Brian was nice enough to pick me up a yummy dessert as well—a Darth Vader cupcake!

IMG_1166.jpg

It had peanut butter under all of that chocolate, and it was SO good! It was really, really rich, though, so I couldn’t eat very much of it!

We all enjoyed our food quite a bit—I guess I have to move that counter service up the ranks a little!

After filling our bellies with lunch, it was time to head back to Wilderness Lodge! We had a nap to take before heading to dinner in the 100-Acre Wood! ;)

I love your photos. You all look like you had a great time! I was wondering where you bought the shirts you all wore at Hollywood Studios. (The black one) I love them!

great photos with the characters! we ate at the commisary last trip and was pretty good!
hope D enjoy's TSM more next time, we love it!

Thank you! A friend of mine actually made those for us as a surprise. We LOVE them!!

After resting, we headed back to Magic Kingdom with the plan to do Wishes and Magic, Memories, & You! (See how I clung to that plan??)

We took some pictures when we got there:

Then, it was off to Crystal Palace! This is one of my favorite dinners. I actually like the dinner there better than the breakfast. The 100-Acre Wood Gang are some of my very favorites!

We had a wonderful server there—I think his name was Scott. He brought Dalton chicken and fries, and D was SO excited!!

You can tell how excited both of my guys were:

IMG_1185.jpg

Then, all of our “friends” started coming around!

IMG_1169.jpg

We were down to just Tigger, and D was very excited to see him. However, when it came our turn on the rotation, the handler took him to a different table. Brian didn’t say anything—he just sort of looked at her. She said, “You understand, right? They just have a big family and their family needs to see him!” Now, this was an extended family—probably about 25 people total. They were at two different tables on two different rotational paths. They had just gotten there, so they weren’t waiting on Tigger to come so they could leave. She just took them from the first part of the family across the path to the OTHER part of the family (the tables were not close together).

It really wasn’t a major issue and I probably sound like a big griper. We didn’t make a big deal about it—just said, “Well, ok”. Finally, though, Tigger made it to our table! 

IMG_1182.jpg

We had a great meal, and they brought D a birthday cupcake! I thought it was really nice because the server even asked us if lighting the candle on the cupcake would scare D before he brought it out. Definitely a nice guy!

After dinner, we walked around some more, and wouldn’t you know it. . .it started to rain again! The only thing D wanted to do was go ride the monorail, so that’s what we did!

IMG_1186.jpg

IMG_1189.jpg

After that, we caught the Wilderness Lodge bus and headed back in to the room for the night. It was different than my original plan, but definitely fun!

looks like a fun dinner! weird about Tigger :confused3
sorry you didn't get to see Wishes and M,M&Y afterall...hopefully you did later on....

You guys look great!!!!! I love reading about your trip. We are taking my Grandchild Just 7 and Abby 5 in May. I cant wait!!!

Yay! You're back! We got back from our trip on Sept 23 and I'm just getting back on myself so I am a lot more sympathetic now. Love love love D's face. I just had your report on my computer when a coworker walked in and asked "OMG, who is that adorable little boy?" Sadly, I don't know him.:sad2:
Great reports and I love all the pictures. Oh yes, and thank your for the chicken nuggets tip. We had to use it once or twice and I even shared it with some neighbouring tables at O'hana's. It saved the day.

It was fun! Yeah, I hated that we didn't get to see it that night! The rain just wasn't helping me out!

I am so glad the "secret" helped! We have an ADR for Be Our Guest in March--I'm hoping they will honor the secret as well! I don't have much more left on this TR :( but I hope you will read along on my next PTR! :thumbsup2. Thanks for the sweet comments on D! He is definitely a little cheeser! Are you writing a TR from your trip?

Ok, y'all! I will have another update, probably tomorrow night! Thanks so much for reading along!!

So I intended to update yesterday, but got into my report and realized I didn't have the photos uploaded to Photobucket! I'll remedy that this afternoon and get a post up today! :thumbsup2

Stay safe in this crazy weather, everyone!
