We have a conference at Coronado Springs Oct.28-31 this coming fall. The room will be paid for and the conference leaves plenty of time to do other things such as MNSSHP. With that said we plan on taking full advantage of the free Disney resort room. I was checking out the MK party and it looks really cool. We could go on either 10/29 or 10/31. Is the one that’s actually on Halloween any better than the other nights? How people who have done this in the past, was it worth it? I don’t care so much about all of the meet & greets, but the overall theme, look, parade and fireworks seem to look pretty cool. I’ve always wanted to do Orlando for Halloween, so it looks like I’m getting my chance. We would like do MK one night and Universal another night or two. That looks much more adult oriented, but a must see too nonetheless.
Also how soon should I get tickets for MNSSHP? I’m assuming the 2 nights that I am looking at are probably the busiest

I would get tickets as quickly as you can. The last parties of the season have a habit of selling out.

My wife and I (no kids) have done the party twice and we really enjoy it. The Boo-To-You Parade is the best parade at WDW, IMO and the HalloWishes is pretty awesome. We don't really do many M&Gs (we did do the 7D one party and J&S the other, got on line long before the party for both so waiting didn't eat into party time), but we spend time walking around, going on a couple of rides, trick or treating, trying some of the special food items, people watching, etc. It's a good time.

It would just be me and my wife as well. I read that the rides are virtually walk on, so we'd at least take in our favorites, and then pretty much do what you described here. Funny that the 7D is the only M&G that I would even consider.

We had plenty to do our first three visits without wanting or needing to consider MNSSHP. By our fourth visit, we were looking for additional new things to try, and MNSSHP was perfect for that. Very much worth it.

There is definitely a different vibe to MK on MNSSHP nights, and the parade are fireworks are awesome.

ok, I'm sold!
I've been going to MK for close to 28 years and I think it's about time.

My friends went last year. They only commented on was how packed the park was. It was very busy. But fun.

When we saw the 7D at our first MNSSHP, we got on line at about 5:30 and were the 8th group on line, it only ate in to about 5-6 minutes of actual party time. When we saw J&S in 2013, we got on line at about 4:00 and were first (it was my wife's must must do and demanded we got on line early). About 10 minutes later people started to show up. We enjoy the limited crowd at MK all day, so we don't usually look to do any more rides.

For both parties we ate larger breakfasts (once was Boma and once at Cape May). For dinner the first time we had an ADR at The Plaza for 4-ish and the second time we did a late lunch, 2:15ish, at BOG since the wife wanted to be on line for J&S early. Both plans worked out great and gave us a chance to have a few party only food items as well as snack on popcorn and trick or treat candy.

As far as rides go, we like the ones that are outside a little so you can get different perspectives of the party. TTA, AO, BTMRR, Dumbo and BTMRR are the ones we have stuck to. Lots else to see and do and the time goes quickly. We also have seen both parades both times and the music never leaves your head. "Boo to you and you and you and you... Happy Halloween."
