Mickey’s Space Ship Shuttle

Just looked at their website...wow! Amazing! And not in a good way!

First off, the entire thing looks like the online equivalent to a ransom note.

I learned that it never rains in L.A. :rotfl:

And the the Rainbow (rocker bar/grill in Hollywood I used to go get rowdy w/friends at before I moved to AZ) is a great place to take kids, especially after 9 pm. :lmao:

Any online business that requests you pay by credit card (I would assume this even means Disney, and all of the hotels/motels of the DLR) is a SCAM and they will steal your cc information.

...and then it goes on to instruct those wanting to use their shuttle service to make a reservation...via email. :rotfl:

Someone there really seems to have a thing with pictures of burnt buses. :scared1:

That's as far as I got, because looking at the mess that is their website was making my eyes hurt!

:lmao: :rotfl2:

That is the best description of their website!!! Who would book with them after seeing it??? :scared1:

Just had to second this! Your ransom note description is spot on! Wow. My curiosity got the best of me and I had to go check out the website. I was thinking, "Surely it can't be that bad..." But yeah. It was. :scared1:

They are probably wondering why they are now getting so many hits on their website, but no new bookings. :rotfl2:

I was thinking the same thing. And they can probably track back where the hits are coming from....so my advice to them is...

Clean up your website! Hire a professional. Know that you can talk yourself up without putting others down. Stop it with the burned vehicle pictures, they don't pull people over to your side.

While doing research for our next trip I found this old thread... and laughed my way thru it!! If it makes any of you feel any better, a few years ago we somehow ended up in the Mickey shuttle on our way back to the airport. NO SHOCKS in the van, and my daughter got sick all over the vehicle. Driver was mad- but considering the ride was wilder than BTMRR, he kinda deserved it!

You mean the actual experience was even worse than the website? That is :scared1: !

I'm glad you & your family got through it ok!

Oh wow .... blast from the past! :rotfl: When I saw the title of the thread pop up again, I started laughing all over again. I'm glad you survived Mickey's death mobile ;) And yeah, they kinda deserve puke in their vans ;)

Looking on the bright side, your credit card info wasn't stolen, you didn't get the swine flu, and you didn't burst into flames! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I have not seen the website but my family actually took this shuttle to and from the airport about 5 yrs ago I think. It was fine, had no problems at all and the driver was very informative and funny. My mom and sister actually walked to Target from our hotel which I believe was HOJO and while they were in Target it started raining. As they were walking back to the hotel Mickeys Spaceship saw them and picked them up, gave them a ride back to our hotel free of charge. Great service IMHO :)

Glad you had a good experience with them. For context though, you REALLLLLYYY need to look at that website!

'WE PLAY SAFE - GO A BETTER WAY!'

Thanks for the advice, spaceship shuttle folks... we do go a better way now... we use Super Shuttle!

I realize that their website is very "okey mcschmokey" looking, with the poor spelling, horrific pictures of the burnt up buses, a hodgepodge of mismatched pictures, etc., but for as much negativity as there seems to be, (call me crazy) for some reason, I'm intrigued by the sound of the specialized tour! It's too bad that they don't update their site though, and move it into the 21st century, and less "drama", refering to the "swine flu" and burnt buses of the competition...if they are that good, they shouldn't have to downplay others.
