CAST: I (Laura) and DGH (Disney Grumpy Husband)
IN: Jan 2nd Newport Bay Club
OUT: Jan 6th
MONDAY 2nd of January (First evening at DLP)
We reached Newport Bay Club at 18.00. No queue at Admiral check in, we quickly got our stuff and asked for breakfast at 8.00; the girl at the reception was very nice and helpful; she spent some time presenting us the resort facilities and (at the end) gave us four tickets:
Tuesday Breakfast at 7.45
Wednesday Breakfast at 8.30
Thursday Breakfast at 8.15
Friday Breakfast at 7.30
Before DGH could start grumping , the girl happily explained with a big smile : Dont worry, timing is just indicative, you can eat when you want. I could swear that instead of thanks, DGH answered grump.
Time to bundle up as you can imagine this can take some time but at the end I was ready, in my Mother Bear look, to head to DLP.
(Sorry, I love this picture , though it isnt a good one: we found it difficult to convince the bear to stay still, they like to wander around playing with people!!!!)
It was almost time for Fantaillusion. There were already lots of people waiting for the parade and, while I was heading to the recommended places (Caseys corner, Central Plaza), to take pictures, DGH remained at Town Square where he found a (supposed) good spot for videotaping. But unfortunately he was not aware of the fact that, when the first float leaves the park, no more transformations happen, so he got an excellent videotape of the parade, but no transformations (GRUMP! grumped DGH)
while I took advantage of all the features of my camera to take some nice shots (Its just point & click, grumped DGH)
With a so late entry we decided to remain in the park as much as possible. While we were wandering around a VERY nice CM volunteered to take a picture of us, and to check if it was good, proposing to re-shoot again in case. The picture was nice and the nice CM spread already lots of magic on our vacation.

etc, etc. I've been practising with the digital camera, and putting some photos on photobucket, I have a nice new notebook for my trippie notes and TICKETS arrived yesterday!
I'll try and do my best to post as often as I can ... from tomorrow 
I'm back to working routine : my NEW time-table says I'm going to teach morning AND 
afternoon !!!! the next 5 months !!
