Hi all~ Is the Great Lakes Crossing shopping center all outlets or a mixture of stores? The only reason we will be there is for the Rainforest Cafe but I thought what the heck since I am there I will do a little shopping. Also we are going to the Somerset Collection how is that. Besides pricey. TIA

Great Lakes Crossing is a mixture of outlets and regular stores. They have a food court and a few "real" restaurants including Rain Forrest Cafe. You can find info at www.shopgreatlakescrossing.com.

Sommerset stores can be pricy but there is quite a variety. They have a "large" Disney Store (larger than at Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights), but like the others there is a lot of kids stuff and minimal adult stuff. Make sure you go to both sides. There is a sky walk over the road connecting both sides of the mall.

Have a good time "under the bridge"!

I like shopping at Great Lakes Crossing. I find a lot of good deals there. Ok maybe not always a good deal, but I like that Mall. Yep, we also come there to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. Great food. I also shop at Somerset Mall and yes it is pricey. But there's tons of varieties of stores and have nice selections.
